The project involves the construction of 152 housing units and the rehabilitation for residential use of one of the industrial building on the plot 5 plus 61 homes on plot 6. These plots are situated in the not consolidated area occupied by the former AEG factory in the municipality of Terrassa.

The starting point is to work with south-facing volumes and to get a regular and repetitive structure that optimizes costs,  allows an efficient underground parking and maximizing the variety of typologies.  On the ground floor all the vertical cores are connected by an exterior path that runs throughout the project: the path becomes the backbone structure of the project.

The existing building is converted into dwellings with access on two different levels from the shared passage with the rest of the blocks, avoiding the “gated community” feeling.
